Foundational Community Supports

Overview

Serenity House has recently become part of the Foundational Community Support network.  FCS programs provide enhanced housing and housing retention support for Medicaid-eligible individuals meeting designated needs-based criteria in the realms of mental health, SUD treatment, assistance with daily living and more.  This new FCS program complements existing housing support services by providing wrap-around housing and employment case management services.

What Does This Mean?

The Foundational Community Supports program allows Serenity House to take a deeper dive into case management services. It is not enough to simply house our clients. Housing is simply a means to stabilize our clients so that they are enabled to work on the difficulties that caused their homelessness in the first place. Once clients have become housed, many need ongoing support so that they can move forward with their lives. FCS allows us to provide in-depth case management services that guide clients through the process of obtaining housing and employment.

If you are in need of housing or employment support, please call the housing resource center at (360)565-5041 so we can create a plan to fit your situation.
