Clallam County Community Shelters
The Clallam County Community Shelters provide low-barrier shelter to our community. At the shelters, guests have access to warm meals, showers, laundry services, and dry cots.
The single adult shelter is open every night from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM and is first-come-first-serve. There are no forms to fill out or applications to pass. Guests must remain clean once they are on shelter property, but will not be turned away at the door. So long as guests maintain the respectful environment of the shelter community, they are welcome to return every night for as long as they need.
In order to make the shelter accessible to all, a series of van runs have been organized every morning and evening from downtown Port Angeles to the shelter. The current pickup location for these runs is _____.
In order to provide stability for families with minors, the Family Shelter offers stays of up to 45 nights, with the possibility of extension in the event that families are on track with their housing and work goals but need additional time to get their affairs in order. The purpose of the Family Shelter is to provide stability for family units so that parents can focus on their housing goals without having to worry about their children.
